It would be useful to be able to use additional variables in the custom message other than [DOMAIN]. Examples:

Category Block: This site, [DOMAIN], has been blocked due to non-business related activity: [CATEGORY].

Translates to - This site, www.eharmony.com, has been blocked due to non-business related activity: Dating.

Adult Block: This site, [DOMAIN], has been blocked because of possible inappropriate content: [CATEGORY].

Translates to - This site, www.playboy.com, has been blocked because of possible inappropriate content: nudity, pornography, sexual content.

i have been asking for this and figured it was already there cause people were saying that when a site was blocked it was saying the adult when it wasnt, so how would they know what category it was in?

yes! this is a good idea. so far you only have separate text options for phishing, category block and individual blocking.

i think i remember a few months ago the block pages DID display the categories. Is that something a person could have accidentally disabled, or did that very useful feature get dropped?

I would also like to have a line break variable, ie [CR]. If I edit a message and make it longer, I want to be able to control where in the message the line wraps to the second line.

I would like to see the URL available too. Sometimes you may get sent to a page and not know the URL, so having just the domain will not allow you to get back to that page even after you modify the settings in your blocked categories.

And it would be nice to have category names translated (or provide our own translation for our network for that matter)

its pointless telling the user that this page has been blocked. it makes them more angry and prompts them to break the system or do work arounds.
