Business Networks like Plaxo.com & Linkedin.com are being mistakenly categorized as Social Networks. Need a business networking category for these.

Pencoyd & Marcusburge has missed the point.
In the business world keeping plugged in with your contacts is everything. It's a Who's who world we live in.
Plaxo.com and Linkedin.com are used to keep our business contacts up to date. This is an invaluable tool.
But when you label them as a purely social network like myspace business will be cut off from using this tool when their IT depts check that box.
All we are saying here is to not throw the baby out with the bath water.
Just sent up a different category for "business tools" or recategorize them as a "business service"
Plaxo and Linkedin are not regular social networks in the common sense - they have evolved heaps. Both are used to get the information you need for the people you know. They are businesses services, not regular social networks for adding people you do not know.
You cannot look at http://www.plaxo.com/tour and just say "it is a social media". Naturally, even a businessperson has social life, although Plaxo and Likedin are tools used many times more in teamworking than outside.
