I'd like to propose a localized guide and, linked with that, a localized typo correction. At least for other big TLDs.

OpenDNS is a great service, but the guide and typo correction mainly focuses on US-users, thus is often useless. I know, it's hard to accept, but there's a whole world out there. ;-)

An option to also allow the typo correction to look for other big TLDs (eg. .de in my case) and a guide with localized search results, would be great.

With other search machines there's often an option to search for sites in "spanish", "german", etc., or the "whole web". The results a quite different, a localized search may be wanted by foreign users. At least I'd like it.

It would be really cool, if OpenDNS could fix typos like "google.d" and automatically use the TLD starting with "d" that corresponds to the users location.

I think that this will increase the use of OpenDNS, so I agree. For example many people here in Brazil who do not know english may access the search results.
