I do not know the search behind the guide, but it would be nice to be able to change the language of the results returned.

I agree about that one, an important thing for OpenDNS to truly be international would be to localize the guide.

(If anyone of the OpenDNS team happen to read this, I'd love to participate as a translator for OpenDNS in general.)

OpenDNS is definitely reading this stuff. Thanks.

We could be already starting the localisation project, gathering the participation of anyone interested. Obviously it will bring a multilingual service and in due course of time more websites. That's the true meaning of localisation (L10n) and internationalisation (i18n).

The problem is the idea bank is full of duplicates about localisation. Now some good ideas are so scattered that they all get some votes however if it would be a single idea it would get a lot more of points.

The staff is working in, as far I am aware, a code for merging ideas - http://ideabank.opendns.com/story.php?title=Mark_duplicate_ideas_and_delete_one_of_them_or_merge_them

However, like they usually say, they are listening to us... a united front would work better.

I think that it would be good to help.

I can speak, read and write in both Brazilian Portuguese and Enlgish (both American and British).

If you guys need some help with it, I do offer myself to help. I know I do not have so much time available during my worktime, but I think I can do something to help. Since you guys from OpenDNS agree.

I think that this will increase the use of OpenDNS, so I agree. For example many people here in Brazil who do not know english may access the search results.

I agree wholeheartedly with the idea (in fact I was about to submit it). I live and work in France, and most end-users here cannot read English (or any other language than their own), especially when it comes to technical matters.

I recently participated in the French translation of Comodo's CIS security suite, so if you need assistance here, let me know…
