When a user uses OpenDNS, I think it would be a good idea (By Default) to have Phishing, Adware, Malware, and Adult Themed sites blocked. If the user wishes to have these categories unlocked, they must establish an OpenDNS account, go to the dashboard, and unblock these categories. This would attract more users to OpenDNS and make things a bit simpler.

I agree for phish, adware, malware. Adult Themes is a really restrictive modifier. I would gladly go for auto check on pornography, sexuality, hate/discrimination, tastless.

I vote for this. Blocking adult sites as default would be best to all, as it is only one click away from admin, to allow.

I fully agree, including the auto checks proposed by alin0s.
Anyone who wants these categories can turn them on for him/herself but please protect minors.

I vote for this. Default filtering must be set to moderate. As filtering doesn't work if network's IP is not up-to-date.
Updaters may be easely deactivated. IP may be easely changed by switching off and on the router when the Internet provider gives dynamic IP. So you can easely set content filtering to default without any administrator control.
I suggest to give a new specific IP to such a DNS server.

I'm all for pre-marking Phishing, Adware, Malware.
I do not agree with Adult Themes. This may be applicable to families with little kids, but mine are all grown up. Pre-marking it would be a PITA for me and many other users. It should definitely be optional.
