It would be nice to be able to tag sites as educational since we are a K12 entity.

Good to know. There is a category suggestion link on the Submit Domains link, too.

Good suggestion, however, consider some Educational sites, such as those deemed Educational by academia on a collegiate level. Some of those sites which are legitimately 'educational' for that level, may not be appropriate for K12.

I think that having multiple categories (K-5,Elementary) (6-8,Middle school or JH) (9-12,HS). This granular approach would help net admins in schools to keep up and manage for the child protection laws. Content must be age appropriate.

We've added an Educational Institutions category. http://www.opendns.com/community/domaintagging/categories

I doubt any will use it for blocking, but we'll see if it comes in handy in other ways going forward.

Moving this to Hall of Fame! ;-)

I was looking for this one myself! I agree - an education one with four sub-categories:

eg: 1. Elementary School, 2. Junior to High School, 3. College & University, 4. Training / General Education (the last one being a catch-all for anything that doesn't fit the usual pattern(s)).
