The Problem:
DNSStuff.com has mired their service in registration and severe limitations on queries. IPTools.com has less than fantastic results. I'd love to see the best of both, powered by OpenDNS!
Wishful feature list: - Immediate (no reg, etc) access to query boxes - As little restriction on use as is reasonably doable - Query results export to CSV, PDF, etc. - Mega bonus points for geolocation!

Totally agreed... DNSStuff signed their suicide note with the whole "pay 60 bucks a year to use the simple tools you used just a few months ago" garbage. I did my part in flaming the crap out of them for that. I had used DNSStuff since back in the days when it was just a simple basement-dweller-looking web page, claiming to be run on a Windows server. Now they let "untraceable" get to their head and they're just commercial garbage. I only use it once in a long while, to maybe look up a site that isn't loading. I'm not paying 60 bucks a year for that.
IPTools is a good alternative, with just as many (if not more) free tools than DNSStuff used to have, but it spits out some foreign, unreadable information for most queries, with the desired information (usually a resulting IP address, or a pass/fail) mingled in with all sorts of other gibberish. I can't tell where one command's output is and where the other begins!
Great opportunity for OpenDNS to step in and shine up their already great service a little more :)
A good alternative to dnsstuff tools which does not require a login is http://www.fixyourip.com, pretty good site it's lacking the DNSreports but has all DNS and IP tools available. The results are clean and gives a lot of information.

spam list checking would be a requirement, as would DNS cache checking
