OpenDNS should create a category to block download sites, like download.com and filehippo.com. You can block P2P and Filesharing sites, but you can still download the client software for p2p sites at these types of download sites.

Thanks for responding, by why do you have a category for blocking p2p/filesharing, if they can go to download.com and download limewire?
I guess you can block the major download site, but there are a lot of them.

There are far too many to effectively block all download site's. Perhaps instead a better option, is to block actual file downloads (obviously whitelisting the likes of Microsoft). However, this then opens another can of worms.
looking at how old this is, it probably wasn't there yet.
